Biography

Patricia Torres-Castellano is an associate of  O’Neill & Borges  in the Labor and Employment Department. Patricia focuses her practice on employment and labor litigation before both Commonwealth and Federal courts, as well as appellate procedures. Since she joined O’Neill & Borges, Patricia has worked on a wide variety of substantive areas, such as sexual harassment, discrimination, retaliation and breach of contract claims.

Prior to joining O’Neill & Borges team, Patricia worked as an Associate at a law firm in Puerto Rico and as a Judicial Clerk to Associate Justice Mildred Pabón-Charneco of the Puerto Rico Supreme Court. She also worked as a Judicial Clerk to Judge Félix R. Figueroa-Cabán at the Puerto Rico Court of Appeals.

While in law school, Patricia was Editor-in-Chief of the University of Puerto Rico’s Law Review and served as a Student Law Clerk to Judge Migdalia Fraticelli-Torres at the Puerto Rico Court of Appeals. She assisted in the edition of the book La Hipoteca en el Derecho Inmobiliario Registral Puertorriqueño written by professors Ana Gómez-Pérez and Lourdes Quintana-Lloréns. Patricia has published two law review articles: Daños continuados por inundaciones: Latentes aún después del Huracán María, 1 Rev Jur UPR In rev 9 (2017), and La expedición de ingresos involuntarios: ¿factor que influye en la crisis de salud mental de Puerto Rico?, 53 Rev. Jur. UIPR 735 (2018-2019).
