José A. Díaz-Herrero

José A. Díaz-Herrero is a Tax Associate in the Corporate Department. He joined O’Neill & Borges in 2023.

During his time in the University of Puerto Rico Law School he passed the CPA exams and formed part of the UPR Law Review where he worked as Associate Editor (2020-2021), Senior Editor (2021-2022), and Executive Editor (2022-2023). He also worked with Professor Ana C. Gómez as a Teaching Assistant and participated in O&B Summer Associates Program during the summers. On his last year of law school, he co-authored legal review article “Conflicto, divorcio y muerte en la gestion empresarial”, 92 Rev. Jur. UPR 597 (2023). José graduated Magna Cum Laude from law school, and obtained one of the top 10 scores of the September 2023 Puerto Rico Bar exam.
