Biography
Jomarys García Nieves joined the firm in 2024 as an Associate in the Litigation Department were she has had the opportunity to further develop her critical analysis and legal writing skills through her involvement in complex litigation matters, where she assists in case strategy, motion practice, and trial preparation. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration with a major in Finance and a minor in Human Resources from the University of Puerto Rico, Aguadilla Campus. In 2023, she earned her Juris Doctor, Magna Cum Laude, from the Inter American University of Puerto Rico School of Law. That same year, she passed the Puerto Rico General Bar Examination with a score of 97%, ranking among the top 10 candidates.
During her law school years, she demonstrated strong leadership and academic excellence. She was an active member of the Student Council, served on the Editorial Board of the Law Review, Vol. LVII and worked as a Teaching Assistant for Dean Julio Fontanet Maldonado in Criminal Law and Evidence courses. In recognition of her outstanding performance, she was selected as a recipient of the prestigious Copa Presidente Scholarship.
Her credentials extend beyond Puerto Rico, as she has successfully passed not only the General Bar Examination, but also the Notarial Bar Examination and the Federal Bar Examination for the District of Puerto Rico. With a combination of academic distinction, professional preparation, and unwavering commitment to client advocacy, she brings both skill and determination to every case she handles.
