Biography
Jay A. Blanch Santa joined O’Neill & Borges, LLC, as an associate attorney in the Litigation Department in 2025. He had worked for the Firm’s Litigation Department since 2023, first as a summer associate and then as a law clerk. Prior to joining O’Neill & Borges, Jay worked in the public sector where he gained experience in government affairs.
Mr. Blanch holds a B.A. in Political Science and a minor in Economics from the University of Puerto Rico, from which he graduated Magna Cum Laude. In 2025, he completed a Juris Doctor and a Master of Public Administration, also from the University of Puerto Rico, graduating with Magna Cum Laude distinction from both programs. This earned him special recognition as a distinguished graduate of the 2025 class which was featured in a Microjuris profile story.
During his time in law school, Mr. Blanch presided over the University of Puerto Rico’s Law School Student Council, acted as professional liaison in the Federal Bar Student Chapter and served as an associate editor for the Business Law Journal. He also served on the directive board of the University of Puerto Rico’s General Student Council and worked as a semester law clerk in the Litigation Department at O’Neill & Borges.
