Biography
Gabriel A. Miranda-Rivera is a Member of the Litigation Department at O’Neill & Borges LLC, where he focuses his practice on commercial litigation, bankruptcy, and restructuring in Puerto Rico. Since joining the firm in 2019, he has represented financial institutions, creditors, and corporate clients in bankruptcy proceedings, reorganization matters, and commercial disputes before both the U.S. Bankruptcy Court and the Puerto Rico courts. His practice combines technical precision with a pragmatic approach to resolving complex creditor–debtor conflicts.
Before joining O’Neill & Borges, Mr. Miranda-Rivera interned with the Hon. Mildred Cabán Flores, U.S. Bankruptcy Judge for the District of Puerto Rico, where he gained hands-on experience in bankruptcy procedure and judicial administration.
Mr. Miranda-Rivera holds an LL.M. in Bankruptcy from St. John’s University School of Law (2019), a Juris Doctor from the University of Puerto Rico School of Law (2017), and a B.A. from the Interamerican University of Puerto Rico (2014). He is admitted to practice law in Puerto Rico (2018).
