Biography
Antonio L. Roig-Lorenzo has been a member in the Litigation Department at O’Neill & Borges LLC for almost 30 years. He represents clients in complex commercial disputes, including breach of contract, insurance claims, creditors’ rights, bonding claims, business torts, environmental matters, construction litigation and administrative proceedings. Clients rely on Antonio for his strategic insight and deep litigation experience, especially when navigating challenging legal and business issues.
Antonio has successfully handled cases in both state and federal courts, including the U.S. District Court for the District of Puerto Rico and appellate courts. He is known for delivering practical solutions and strong advocacy at every stage of litigation.
Antonio is the Litigation Department Head since 2024. He was also Litigation Department Head from 2013-16.
Before joining O’Neill & Borges, Antonio worked at the Banco Popular de Puerto Rico Legal Division, and was an associate attorney at Muñoz Boneta Gonzalez Arbona Benítez & Peral.

- PR Asset Portfolio 2013-1 International v. One Alliance Insurance Corporation, TA KLAN 202300485(successfully represented a financial institution at trial and on appeal in a claim against the insurance company related to damages caused to several properties during Hurricane Maria).
