Carlos E. George

Carlos E. George is a member of the Labor and Employment Law Department. Carlos advises and represents management in a broad range of employment law and labor relations matters. He has extensive experience in representing and counseling employers in the banking, hospitality, maritime transportation, food, retail, waste management, communication, insurance, and health industry, among others. He has extensive experience in defending employers in state and federal courts and employment arbitration (FINRA and AAA), against retaliation, harassment, employment discrimination, wrongful discharge, collective wage and hour claims, libel and defamation, privacy rights and other employment claims. Carlos also counsels and represents clients on a variety of issues related to employee benefits, employment leaves, restrictive covenants, confidentiality, trade secrets, cybersecurity, data breaches, social media, privacy rights, safety, health, and workers’ compensation.

Carlos has extensive experience in counseling employers in union representation cases as well as management rights in the context of union drives. He also represents employers before the National Labor Relations Board (NLRB), collective bargaining negotiations and administration, as well as in labor arbitration procedures.

Carlos has also experience in gaming law, covering a range of issues confronted by our clients within the industry.  He represents casino operators, sports betting operators, equipment manufacturers, and businesses that provide services to the industry.  Primarily he advises clients in regulatory and compliance matters, including internal investigations in connection with alleged regulatory violations and related litigations and administrative cases.
