Antonio L. Roig-Lorenzo

Antonio Roig-Lorenzo is a member of the Litigation Department. He joined O’Neill & Borges in 1996, and has been in private law practice since 1992. He was Head of the Litigation Department from 2013 to 2016. He has primarily been engaged in commercial, construction and general civil litigation (in both federal and local courts), alternative dispute resolution, administrative proceedings, and bankruptcy. Antonio has represented major clients in the creditors-rights area.

Clients he has represented in this area include Banco Santander Puerto Rico, Santander Financial Services Corp., CPG Island Properties I, LLC., PRLP 2011 Holdings, LLC., BSLP Funding LLC, and Stabilis Capital Management, LLC.  Other major clients include ESSROC San Juan, Inc., Empresas Stewart, Inc., Interlink Realty International, Marsh Saldaña Inc., Wyndham Rio Mar Beach Resort & Spa and DDR Corp.  Antonio has represented CPG Island Properties I, LLC., Namco Cybertainment, Lucent Technologies, and the Puerto Rico Department of Public Housing, in arbitration and mediation proceedings.

Antonio has also represented several clients in bid challenges and administrative proceedings, such as UBS Financial Services Corp, Puerto Rico Waste Industries Corp., the Puerto Rico Department of Public Housing, First Transit Rail of Puerto Rico, Banco Santander Puerto Rico, Santander Financial Services, Inc., and CPG Island Properties I, LLC.  Finally, Antonio has represented various creditors in complex commercial bankruptcy cases, such as Liberty Mutual Insurance Co. and PRLP 2011 Holdings, LLC.
