Lillian
Mateo-Santos
is
a
partner
in
the
Corporate
Department,
where
she
specializes
in
environmental
law
and
environmental
litigation.
She
joined
O'Neill
&
Borges
in
1999.
Ms.
Mateo-Santos
has
been
significantly
involved
in
counseling
clients
on
matters
concerning
the
Environmental
Impact
Statement
process,
as
well
as
permitting
and
land
use
matters.
Prior
to
joining
O'Neill
&
Borges,
Ms.
Mateo-Santos
served
as
a
law
clerk
in
the
Puerto
Rico
Circuit
Court
of
Appeals.
Ms.
Mateo-Santos has been a speaker at several seminars provided by the Interamerican Association of Sanitary and Environmental
Engineers (AIDIS by its acronym in Spanish) regarding environmental crimes.
