his
more
than
30
years
in
practice,
Mr.
Rivero
has
accumulated
extensive
experience
in
various
practice
areas,
including
commercial
lending,
mergers
and
acquisitions,
and
real
estate.
He
has
represented
several
of
the
prominent
residential
and
commercial
developers
in
Puerto
Rico
in
real
estate
matters
for
many
years.
Mr.
Rivero
is
also
a
residential
developer.
Mr.
Rivero
has
worked
in
various
transactions
involving
the
acquisition
and
sale
of
shopping
centers,
hotels
and
industrial
and
commercial
properties,
representing
buyers
and
sellers,
and
landlords
and
tenants.
Recently,
Mr.
Rivero
represented
the
buyer
in
the
acquisition
and
financing
of
two
portfolios
of
shopping
centers
in
Puerto
Rico
with
an
aggregate
purchase
price
of
over
half
a
billion
dollars.
In
the
mergers
and
acquisitions
area,
Mr.
Rivero
represented
the
largest
funeral
home
and
cemetery
chain
in
Puerto
Rico
in
the
establishment
and
development
of
its
operations
in
Puerto
Rico.
Mr.
Rivero
has
also
represented
the
Puerto
Rico
Tourism
Company
in
various
transactions,
including
the
assembly
of
the
real
estate
parcels
for
the
Puerto
Rico
Convention
Center
District.
