David
Rivé-Power
is
a
partner
in
the
Litigation
Department and joined O'Neill
&
Borges in 1993.
Mr.
Rivé-Power has assisted clients in a number of litigation cases, including tort litigation defense, construction litigation and
commercial dispute litigation. Mr. Rivé-Power also assists Puerto Rico and U.S. based clients, from diverse industries such
as retail, pharmaceutical, health, energy, transportation, banking, tourism and construction sectors, in a diverse number of areas, including
regulatory, administrative proceedings and government affairs.
In 1998,
Mr. Rivé Power left O'Neill & Borges to work as Executive Assistant to the Mayor of San Juan, Sila M. Calderón. In early 2000,
Mr. Rivé Power left the Municipality of San Juan and became the Campaign Director for Sila M. Calderón in her succesful bid to become
Puerto Rico's Governor during the 2000 General Elections. He returned to O'Neill & Borges in 2001 to resume his legal career.
