In memory of our friend and partner:  Ismael Vincenty was a member of the Corporate Department concentrating in Puerto Rico taxes. Ismael joined O’Neill & Borges in 2004 and had been in private law practice since 1994. Before joining the firm, he served as Chief Assistant Secretary for the Puerto Rico Treasury Department in charge of the areas of Internal Revenue, Tax Policy and Legislation.

Ismael had extensive experience in assisting clients in tax audits and negotiations before the Puerto Rico Treasury Department and local municipalities, as well as providing tax advice and structuring business operations in Puerto Rico.

During his career, Ismael represented:

  • UBS Financial Services in structuring numerous financial products and mutual funds for the local market.
