Giselle Flaqué-Durán is a member of the Corporate Department where she concentrates in tax law. She joined O’Neill & Borges in 2005. Giselle is also a Certified Public Accountant since 2002.
Giselle represents clients before the Puerto Rico Treasury Department in a broad range of tax matters, such as income taxes, sales and use taxes, excise taxes, municipal license taxes and real and personal property taxes. Giselle also represents clients in the negotiation of tax exemption decrees and economic incentives before the Department of Economic Development and Commerce of Puerto Rico and the Puerto Rico Industrial Development Company (PRIDCO).
Prior to joining O’Neill & Borges, Giselle worked in the audit department of a major public accounting firm in San Juan, Puerto Rico.
